Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how QuickFileTools, its analytics provider and its advertising partners use cookies and browser storage.
Last updated: 1 November 2026
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your phone or computer. Browser storage (such as local storage) works in a similar way.
2. What QuickFileTools itself stores
qft-theme(local storage): remembers your light, dark or system theme choice. It is not a cookie and is never sent to us.- Offline copy of the site (browser cache): in browsers that support it, the site keeps its own pages, scripts and fonts so the tools work offline. It never contains your files.
Your files are not stored in cookies or browser storage. They are processed on your device and are gone when you close the page.
3. Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which may set strictly necessary cookies to protect the site from attacks and keep it running.
4. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics)
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages and tools are used. It sets these cookies:
_ga: tells visits from different browsers apart. Lasts up to 2 years._ga_<id>: keeps track of the current visit. Lasts up to 2 years.
These cookies never contain your files. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland they are not used unless you consent. You can block them with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or in your browser's cookie settings.
5. Advertising cookies (Google AdSense)
QuickFileTools is free and may show advertising from Google AdSense to cover its costs. Ads are loaded from Google's servers, not from this site.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your earlier visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google My Ad Center. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info.
- Google explains how it uses information from sites that show its ads in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
- If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you will be asked for consent before cookies are used for personalised ads, and you will be able to change your choice at any time. No ads are shown today.
Advertisers never receive your files. Files are processed on your device and are not sent to us, to Google or to anyone else.
6. Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings. The tools keep working if you block advertising cookies; you may then see ads that are not personalised.
7. Contact
