You get
A PNG or JPG with the painted area filled in from the pixels around it.
Not supported
Large objects or busy backgrounds – this is not AI object removal

How it works

  1. Choose an image. It stays in your browser.
  2. Paint over the area to remove. Cover the whole mark plus a thin border. Use Erase to correct, and zoom in for detail.
  3. Select “Remove selected area”. The painted pixels are rebuilt by blending the colours around them. Nothing outside your selection changes.
  4. Compare and download. Drag the before/after slider, refine further if needed, then save as PNG or JPG.

What to expect

Frequently asked questions

Is my image uploaded?

No. The image, your painted selection and the result are processed in your browser and never sent to our server.

Does this use AI?

No. It uses classical inpainting: the painted area is filled by blending the pixels around it. It works best on small marks over plain or gently changing backgrounds, and it cannot recover what was originally hidden.

Which formats and sizes are supported?

JPG, PNG and WebP images up to 10 MB and 12 megapixels. You can download the result as PNG (lossless, keeps transparency) or JPG.

Can I use this on someone else's image?

Only edit images you own or have permission to change. Removing a mark does not give you the right to use a protected image.

Keyboard shortcuts

Check it yourself: your file is not uploaded

  1. Choose your file on this page.
  2. Turn off Wi-Fi or mobile data.
  3. Run the tool. It still finishes and saves the result, because all the work happens in your browser.

On a computer you can also open the browser's developer tools (F12), choose the Network tab and watch: no request carries your file.
